Senioritis

On the other hand I just feel overwhelmed and stressed out. I feel that there is not enough hours in the day to get any work done. I wake up in the morning tired from last night because I was up late from doing homework because I took a nap at like 4 until 7, then I eat, take a shower, and then try to squeeze my homework in. Senioritis is real. You just get lazy and don't feel like doing anything at all. Something has got to give us motivation. Also, all of our teachers decide to give us all this homework in one week all at once like we are some type of homework gizzard.😂😩  While  getting ready for school i just think of sleeping more then I come home from school.  While at school I think about how I will go home and do my homework right when I get home , but it just doesn't work out that way. There is so many distractions like Instagram and Twitter. You could be on those social network and an entire hour will go by and you wouldn't even notice. I am trying really hard because it is too early to be slacking already. I will try to be more motivated and to not procrastinate. No matter what I still get my work done but it's the time frame that is a problem.

  1. Hey Myah, its crazy to say that everything you've described is 100% accurate. I thought I was the only one that felt that way and I felt terrible because of my "laziness" but senioritis is real. My daily schedule is about exactly the same as yours. I get out of school excited to arrive home to eat then take a long nap, then eat again, shower, social media, then homework. The time flies by so quickly until i find myself finishing up my hw at 11 at night. I hope soon enough we will get through this "senioritis" and we will find our senior year becoming more stress-free and will be able to enjoy our senior year (:

  2. I feel your pain, Myah. I frequently find myself daydreaming or dozing off when there is a boring day or just an overall slow day. Just being able to stay focused for a majority of my classes is frustratingly difficult. Even sitting here with twenty minutes left to finish up my comments, i glance at the computer a little more than i should. I think especially today is a tough day to stay focused, it being halloween and all. And now with the time change quickly approaching, i feel like ill barely have any time to finish all of my work every day. But, we all have to keep in mind that we have about 3 quarters left of school, and keeping our grades at graduating-level should be a top priority.

  3. I know exactly what you mean. This whole blog post was completely accurate. I'm very much stressed and we're too early in the year to be this way. There's really not enough hours in the day to do everything, especially when taking naps isn't even an option, it's more mandatory. This whole senioritis thing is definitely real, but we have to get through it. I wish you the best of luck this year!

  4. Lots of us experience "senioritis" from time to time, especially nowadays. Many people claim that we're just lazy, that we aren't motivated enough for school. Really, it's just that we're exhausted from it all. Not everyone can pull themselves together in the morning and smile, most of us loathe the concept of going to school at 7:00 a.m. despite the fact that we were up until midnight just trying to cram for Friday's Physics test. Sure, we don't work as hard as most people expect us to be, but we're only human, it's only natural for us just wanting to stay in bed all day. lawlz
