Hey everyone, I know a lot of you are stressing about how to pay for college and I have a solution: SCHOLARSHIPS!!!!! Make sure you are all applying. There are so many different types of scholarships, there are even ones for being short :). Some famous sites to find scholarships are Scholarships.com, and Fastweb.com. Also make sure to check in the College and Career Center to find out more scholarships updates. Ms. Bowens will be glad to help you out. Remember that this is one easy way to pay your way through college.

  1. This post reminded me on how I need to start applying for scholarships soon, thank you! Scholarships are very beneficial to students; a lot of people tend to stress and freak out about paying for all the dues and fees and tuition of college. I remember one of the articles that we had to annotate in the packet stated that we shouldn't let the cost stop us from furthering our college education. There are other methods to pay for college other than from your parents' pockets. You've got grants, loans, and of course, scholarships.

Another good website to check out is https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/scholarship-search. You type in your personal, academic, and extracurricular information, and it will match you up with potential scholarships! College Board in general is a great website other than applying for the SAT and ACT; you can also in put your interests, and it can match you with possible majors, career fields, and colleges that are right for you :)
